Over the weekend I realized that there are loads of people who actually don’t understand the basics of various exercises. I’m gonna try on Tuesday and Thursday every week to highlight and demo a different exercise with technique pointers.

There are 2 basic movements on which all exercises are based: push and pull. Today we are starting with the lower body push. 

The Squat 

• Start by pushing your bum back and bending your knees. 

• Keep your chest up for as long and possible. Knees should be in line with toes and go as far down as in comfortable. 

*Return to your start position.
